Royals is hired on a minimum-spend basis rather than through a separate venue-hire fee. The minimum spend is the agreed amount your group must spend on food and beverages during the event.

All food and drinks purchased by your group count towards the minimum spend. If the minimum is not reached, the remaining balance is payable at the end of the event.

Yes. You are welcome to bring a celebration cake, and there is no cakeage fee. We can refrigerate it if needed and provide a cake knife, plates and napkins. Our team can also cut and serve the cake for your guests.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own DJ, subject to venue approval, or we can arrange one for you for $100 per hour.

Your functions manager will confirm access, setup requirements and performance times before the event.

Yes. A microphone is available for speeches and announcements. Let your functions manager know what you have planned so our team can coordinate the setup and timing.

Yes. You are welcome to bring decorations, balloons, backdrops, photo boards, signage, florals and a cake display.

A few things to keep in mind:

• No confetti or glitter

• Nothing may be fixed to the walls or venue surfaces in a way that causes damage

• All decorations and personal items must be removed at the end of the event

• Supplier access and setup times must be arranged in advance

For balloons and larger installations, please consider how they will be brought into and removed from the upstairs venue.

The rooftop is open-air, although some booth seating is covered. Guests can move between the rooftop and indoor venue throughout the event.

Outdoor use may be affected by the weather, but the indoor venue remains available throughout your booking.

No. Every booking includes exclusive use of Royals. We host one event at a time, so the indoor venue, rooftop and both bars are reserved for your group.

Unfortunately, Royals does not have wheelchair access.
