Our venue can comfortably fit 350 - 400 payers with a full stage setup in the main bar area. We have a large outdoor rooftop bar at the back of the main bar area which has full view of the stage meaning guest don’t need to leave the venue for smoking. We can also do seated events for comedy/speaking events/presentations (150 cap main room).
Costs for any additional furniture required are to be covered by the customer.
PRODUCTION
We have a 4m x 2m stage with a full house PA and lighting system. You can use our house system standalone or use it as a base to build on for more specific events eg. adding extra subs for D&B gigs. Our team have years of experience running events and can help with bringing any show to life.
ACCESSIBILITY
Royals is on the first floor of our building on 178 St Asaph Street, Christchurch. There is parking and loaded zones directly outside the building and a 2m wide staircase leading upstairs.
OPERATING HOURS
Our licensed hours are from 11am to 3am 7 days a week. We can host events at any times within our licensed hours. For special events we can also apply for a licence to operate outside of our normal times however there are extra costs and long lead times for this.

Royals combines high ceilings, excellent sightlines, multiple bars, chill areas, and a smoking section, all within a vibrant and contemporary setting. This creates a unique experience for guest where they can have a seamless journey.
